Rare Nomadic Provenance and Caucasian Tapestry Mastery
Rooted in over 45 years of specialized expertise in fine and historic textiles from our showroom in the heart of the West Hollywood Design District, Ariana Rugs proudly curates the world’s most distinctive tribal artifacts for elite interior designers and collectors. Originally handwoven as an intricate nomadic cradle bag before being skillfully altered into a charming small area rug, this exceptional 3'2" x 3'10" vintage Caucasian Shahsavan kilim is a mesmerizing specimen of authentic tribal artistry. Utilizing expert Soumak wrapping techniques, this flatweave displays a striking geometric composition in a vibrant yet earthy palette of pinks, deep reds, blues, and warm brown tones. Possessing genuine historic soul and rich tactile relief, this rare textile is an indispensable asset for designers looking to infuse authentic cultural narrative, textural depth, and bohemian-luxury warmth into intimate entryways, vignettes, or wall-hanging displays.
