This exquisite Persian Kurdish weaving originates from the 1st half 20th. century and was skillfully crafted by a member of the Jaf tribe. Displaying the classic field design of concentric lozenges hooked in the second layer, it served as the front of a large bag. The back is woven in simple red and blue stripes.
