Dimensions: 8'0" x 4'7" Tribal Kurdish Vibrant Rug
This vibrant handwoven rug was crafted by Kurdish villagers in Central Turkey during the third quarter of the 20th century. These remarkable vintage textiles served a multitude of purposes, from adorning walls and covering beds to dividing tents, creating curtains, and providing floor coverings in both tents and village homes. They were also cherished as additions to a maiden's trousseau. As these exquisite pieces of textile and folk art haven't been produced for several decades, they have become increasingly rare and challenging to come by.
